The entry-level Radeon RX 7400 is once again spotted, but this time, it appears that the GPU is close to its official launch.

Dell Deploys AMD Radeon RX 7400 in its New Pro Tower Plus Desktop PC With Core Ultra 7 vPRO CPU; Hints at OEM-Exclusivity

The AMD Radeon RX 7400 may finally make it to the market, but it may not be available to regular consumers, as apparently, the Radeon RX 7400 was seen in the configuration of an enterprise solution by Dell. We have been hearing about the GPU occasionally, and it has been about a month or so since we reported about its inclusion in AIDA64's database. While the GPU can be traced back to last year, it took a long time to even appear on a retailer.

The Radeon RX 7400 falls in the RX 7000 lineup, based on the RDNA 3 architecture. Unlike the previous RDNA 2 generation, the RX 7000 series didn't see a GPU weaker than the Radeon RX 7600, while the RX 6000 did see RX 6400 and RX 6500 XT launches. Apart from the Radeon RX 7400, we also saw the RX 7300 in a few leaks previously, but the RX 7400 seems to have been prepared by AMD for deployment in desktop PCs.

We don't know if it's OEM exclusive, but it does look like so, as Dell has deployed it in its newest Pro Tower Plus desktop enterprise PC, which boasts the Core Ultra 7 265 vPro processor. The specs reveal a little about the GPU, but it's the first time we are seeing details on its VRAM. The GPU is reportedly bringing a good 8 GB GDDR6 VRAM capacity, which is higher than its predecessor (RX 6400 came with 4 GB). The RX 7400 will have 4x DisplayPorts, and that's all we can see on the official website of the University of Toronto, Scarborough.

From previous reports, we got to know that the Radeon RX 7400 will utilize the same die found on the Radeon RX 7600, i.e., NAVI 33. However, it will be a significantly cut-down GPU, bringing fewer shaders and probably a narrower bus width of 64-bit, similar to the Radeon RX 6500 XT. That said, we don't know the price for the Dell Pro Tower Plus QBT1250 model or the availability, but it should be close to the official retail launch.
