NVIDIA recently launched its RTX 4000 SUPER series of GPUs, comprising of the RTX 4070 SUPER, RTX 4070 Ti SUPER, and lastly, the RTX 4080 SUPER. Even though these graphics cards were supposed to start from $599.99, it is a rarity to see any of these available at the Manufacturer’s Suggested Retail Price (MSRP). Fortunately, the PNY version of the RTX 4070 SUPER is available on Amazon for $599.99, which is its actual price, offering a capable solution to those who want to experience high framerate gaming at 1440p and, in some cases, the 4K resolution.
The PNY RTX 4070 SUPER features a dual-fan solution, and given its TGP of 220W, the cooling solution is more than enough to keep its temperatures in check, even if you plan on doing some mild overclocking on this card, though we would not recommend that you do so if you are not familiar with extensive tweaking. The base GPU clock speed is listed at 1,980MHz, with the RTX 4070 SUPER boosting to 2,490MHz when required. Compared to the regular RTX 4070, the RTX 4070 SUPER has 20 percent more CUDA cores, with previously leaked benchmarks revealing that it is almost on par with the RTX 4070 Ti.
Just like every other RTX 4000 series GPU, gamers will get to experience exclusive NVIDIA technologies such as ray tracing, DLSS 3, and Frame Generation, with all three designed to improve visual quality while also delivering a solid boost in framerates. If the RTX 4070 SUPER had received 16GB of VRAM instead of 12GB, then it would have been a solid $599.99 card, but even with the aforementioned framebuffer, you can throw almost any AAA title toward it and watch it run that game smoothly at 1440p.

Most importantly, we recommend picking up this GPU as quickly as possible because if history has taught us anything, NVIDIA graphics cards hardly stay at their MSRP for long. Hence, the fact that we saw the listing for $599.99 is nothing short of a miracle.
