It appears that PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds momentum is growing even more as the title has now taken the first spot at Steam’s Concurrent Player Charts, and has become the best-selling single-platform title of 2017 to date.
PUBG took the first spot on the Steam charts from DOTA 2 with 877,844 players logged in simultaneously – that’s 39.325 players more logged in at once than DOTA 2.
PlayerUnknown shared the news through Twitter, thanking all players for their continued support.

Another important milestone was shared by analyst Daniel Ahmad from Niko Partners, who tweeted that the PUBG has become the best-selling single-platform game of 2017 to date.
An amazing feat indeed as the game has only made available for PC so far. The game will be released for Xbox One (and Xbox One X) later this year. “I couldn’t be more excited to be working with the team at Bluehole to bring Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds exclusively to our players on Xbox One this year,” said Phil Spencer, Head of Xbox. “We’ve been huge fans since the very earliest days, and worked hard to bring the game successfully to our E3 briefing. The announcement of our publishing the game on console today is an evolution of the strong partnership we’ve been building over many months.”
“Our goal is to deliver the best Battle Royale experience to a global audience and our partnership with Microsoft will allow us to do just that,” said Chang Han Kim, VP of Bluehole, Inc and Executive Producer for PUBG. “This partnership with Microsoft will accelerate the development and delivery of PUBG to console players around the world as we utilize their vast resources and impressive technical, sales and marketing expertise.”
