The Pixel Fold is finally out in the market, which means more and more people are getting their hands on the device. The phone went through an extensive durability test only yesterday, and the latest video we have shows the phone being teardown for the first time, and it shows how Google has managed to make this foldable.

The Pixel Fold teardown shows a marvelous wonder on the inside that looks like a nightmare to repair

The teardown is coming from PBKreviews, the publication known for delivering some stellar teardowns in the past, and this time on the table, we have the Pixel Fold. Tearing down the phone is a pretty simple and straightforward process, as the entire phone is held together by an adhesive.

Upon tearing the Pixel Fold down, you are greeted by a 3,332 mAh battery that has pull tabs as well. This is directly under the display. The under-display proximity sensor and front-facing camera are also on the same board.

The vibration motor on the Pixel Fold is right between the camera and the battery. You also see the top speaker, SIM card reader, and all the components neatly tucked into the places where they should be. The other side shows a graphene film, and underneath that, you will find the second 1,489 mAh battery. The main board has a triple camera system and a USB Type-C port that can be found on the bottom.

There is also another vibration motor found at the bottom, along with a bottom speaker, mmWave antenna, along with a foldable display camera that can be seen on the side. The teardown sadly does not show us the display of the Pixel Fold because that process is an arduous one as it involves heating the border of the phone followed by the folding screen, and in most cases, it actually will end up killing the display entirely.
