Oura Ring has established itself as a well-known smart ring packed with health-tracking capabilities that offer tons of features extending from sleep tracking to health rate monitoring and even tracking body temperature. The company, in fact, revolutionized the market by bringing more comprehensive tools and encouraging other big players to step into the industry, such as Samsung with its Galaxy Ring. Even with competition increasing in the smart ring space, Oura is determined to keep its functionality ahead of the curve and is now bringing in a new feature, Symptoms Radar, that will help predict when users are about to get sick so they can manage their health better.
Oura Ring 3 and 4 have a new Symptoms Radar feature to help users find out if they are about to get sick
Oura is working on bringing even more advancement by introducing capabilities meant for health management and for users to know beforehand if they are about to get sick. Symptoms Radar is a feature meant to monitor changes in a user's health and, based on that, detect any early signs of illness. While the feature was initially being tested, it is now being fully rolled out and is meant to be a proactive approach to health monitoring.
Oura Ring has become well-known in the industry for offering compact yet powerful functionality and prioritizing health metrics such as body temperature, heart rate variability, and more. Not only have the features gained popularity, but also the sleek and minimal design that the smart ring comes in.
Oura has officially started rolling out Symptom Radar to both the Oura Ring 3 and the Oura Ring 4, marking a huge leap in the health monitoring offering. The early onset of illness is determined by several health metrics, including skin temperature, respiratory rate, resting heart rate, and inactive physical time.
The notification would come on the Oura app and would include the information presented as either no signs, minor signs, or major signs. Users can determine the needed course of action depending on what appears to pop up. Oura points out more to the precision of the monitoring, suggesting that even subtle hints can be determined by keeping in view previous indicators. The feature would be automatically available for users with active membership.
