OtherOS returns to PS3 as OtherOS++ Sony has yet to respond

OtherOS was perhaps one of the most controversial moves they did back when FAT model PS3's were still rolling, OtherOS enabled Linux OS to Operate on the PS3 although Sony removed this feature in a firmware and made it so that Slim models wouldn't be able to take advantage of other OS either, but after years of planning OtherOS has returned to the console scene as OtherOS++ .

So far you can only install OtherOS++ on certain PS3 models (Fat and Slim) and on modified 3.55 firmware which means you WILL have to jailbreak your console. Sony might just look into this and drag this guy to court next but maybe they should focus on bringing PSN up again instead 🙂
