Rumors about NVIDIA launching GeForce RTX 50 SUPER GPUs soon are false, as the company is still focused on its current lineup.

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 SUPER Series Launch Rumors Are False, No Plans For The Current Year

Recently, there have been rumors that NVIDIA is going to launch its upcoming GeForce RTX 50 SUPER series graphics cards by Q3 2025. There have also been rumors pointing out specifications & prices, which are nothing new and have already been reported months ago by the prominent Kopite7kimi. Despite the fact that these specs leaked months back, we still want our audiences to know that these could change as we get closer to launch.

We can confirm that, besides the specifications that were already out there months back, everything else, including the launch and pricing rumors, is made up and fake. We have confirmed with one of our sources that NVIDIA never planned to launch its GeForce RTX 50 SUPER GPUs in Q4 2025, and we may not hear about the "SUPER" lineup even at CES 2026.

TLDR:

And before anyone says that NVIDIA isn't launching the cards now because they delayed them by a few months, no, that's not how a company like NVIDIA works. You can't just go on stating that a lineup was supposed to launch the very next month and then use "delay" as a covering mechanism to make others believe that you were right from the beginning. As such, we confirmed with several AICs, and none of them have been updated on the RTX 50 SUPER series yet.

Now you might believe that NVIDIA's recent price cuts and discounts are indicative of a new launch approaching the horizon, but that's not the case either. NVIDIA's original RTX 50 GPUs are now only starting to hit MSRP, and the reason is that the ramp is underway. NVIDIA's RTX 50 GPUs are still in full-cycle. This means that the cards are in full production, and reports regarding discontinuation are also not based on truth.

The most plausible scenario is that these rumors are being used to create panic in the market, making buyers sell off their existing GPUs, including RTX 50, since most users will worry that the new "SUPER" cards will lower the resale value of their current cards. Once again, that's not the case.

With all that said, it's not like we aren't going to see the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 SUPER family. The lineup will indeed launch at its due time, and NVIDIA will definitely host a big event to unveil its next-gen lineup. When that time comes, NVIDIA and its partners will make sure that you know, and in a "SUPER" fashion.
