Nothing Phone 2a to Cost Around $100 Cheaper Than the Nothing Phone 1, Available in Two Storage Options

The Nothing Phone 2 was a success, and it appears that the company wants to bring in a more affordable phone in the market as well, in the shape of Nothing Phone 2a. Now, the phone is not going to be a higher-end option. Based on the information that we have received today, it sits somewhere between the first and second phones.

The Nothing Phone 2a will bring less number of lights and a circular camera design.

The source claims that the Nothing Phone 2a is codenamed Pacman/Aero and has the model number A142. The phone is going to pack MediaTek Dimensity 7200 and will offer a 3-part Glyph system. You will get lights, but not as many as you have seen on the older phones. Based on the render shared, you can see that it has a circular camera island on the back with dual cameras.

Now, there are some discrepancies between this leak and the previous one. The model number matches, but the phone's design does not. The phone in this latest video teaser shows an entirely different design that is more akin to some OnePlus designs. We cannot say for sure, so we will have to wait and see what the Nothing Phone 2a looks like.

As far as the specs are concerned, the Nothing Phone 2a is said to bring a 6.7-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 16-megapixel front camera, and a 4,920 mAh battery. All of this combined makes a compelling mid-ranger, and I cannot wait to see how the phone actually looks like when it eventually comes out.

Nothing is hosting an event early next year, and we will be getting a look at the Nothing Phone 2a and possibly some more information.
