A new color variant of one of the best PC fans ever made is now available for purchase, as Noctua announces its official launch.

Noctua Rolls Out NF-A12x25 G2 Chromax.Black Fan at $34, the Black Edition of the Iconic NF-A12x25 G2

The original Noctua NF-A12x25 was a huge success as it was deemed as one of the best, if not the best, PC fans ever made. Based on the same design, Noctua launched the NF-A12x25 G2 last year, but it was only available in the classic brown-beige color combination. However, Noctua has now officially launched its black version, called the NF-A12x25 G2 Chromax. Black.

As usual, Noctua does this for several of its products as people love the black-themed coolers and fans. The new NF-A12x25 G2 Chromax.Black doesn't bring any changes to the NF-A12x25 G2, but now features an all-black color theme that will be ideal for black-themed builds or even for builds that use multiple color combinations. This second generation of NF-A12x25 fan is Noctua's best-ever design, featuring state-of-the-art cooling performance and has received dozens of awards since its launch last year.

The Chromax. black expands the lineup for enthusiasts who don't want to settle for the boring brown-biege color combination. The NF-A12x25 G2 uses a novel progressive bend impeller design with a centrifugal turbulator hub, as Noctua's aim was to improve the airflow significantly. Noctua specifically focused on lower turbulence and reduced tonal noise. Hence, with the same noise level as the first-generation fan, the G2 can cool better.

Noctua claims that the G2 can improve the thermals by up to 3.5°C at similar acoustic levels on radiators. The G2 Chromax.Black uses the same famous 0.5mm tip clearance and uses the Sterrox LCP blades. This tiny gap reduces the airflow leaked around the blade tips and improves the static pressure efficiency. This is why Noctua not only recommends the NF-A12x25 G2 for PC cases, but also for AIOs and air coolers.

The NF-A12x25 G2 Chromax.Black is launched at a price of $34.90, and its dual-fan pack i.e., Sx2-PP will sell at $64.90.
