New Nintendo Switch System Update 9.0.1 Released; Resolves Some Minor Issues and Offers General Stability Improvements

Nintendo Switch System Update 9.0.1 has just been released globally for owners of the original Switch and the new Switch Lite.

This brand-new system update packs the usual stability improvements but also packs fixes for the following two issues:

Resolved an issue that may have triggered errors during game play.

Resolved an issue that may display an instruction to remove the Joy-Con during the initial setup of Nintendo Switch Lite.

Further details about this firmware update are unknown but it seems to be a minor one following last month’s 9.0 update, which introduced support for the Switch Lite.

The Nintendo Switch and Switch Lite are available globally now.
