Next-Gen Xbox Console May Feature An Internal Physics Engine – Rumor

The next generation PlayStation and Xbox consoles are in the works, but very little is currently known about them, outside of rumors. A new one that has started circulating online in the past few hours suggests that the next Xbox console will come with a very interesting feature that may change a lot of things for developers.

In a new video shared by Skullzi TV on YouTube, it's been revealed that a recent patent from Microsoft suggests that the next-gen Xbox console will feature an internal physics engine. This onboard module should act a physics engine for next-generation titles, which should open up a lot of very interesting possibilities.

According to other rumors, the next-gen Xbox console will be released in two variants, codenamed Lockhart and Anaconda. The former will come with no disc tray to reduce costs, while the latter will be the more powerful of the two.
