A new Hogwarts Legacy patch for PC and Xbox Series X|S is being deployed, which addresses several bugs and improves performance.

While the new update is being rolled out today for PC and Xbox players, those on PlayStation 5 will have to wait a little longer. "Xbox Series X & PC Hogwarts Legacy players, expect a patch today to fix bugs & performance", community manager Chlander Wood writes on Twitter. "Unfortunately, the PS5 patch needs to be pushed by a few days. This includes the fix for the "Collector's Edition" Trophy. We're targeting later this week. Thanks for your patience!"

Additional details about the contents of this new patch weren't shared at first just yet, but we now also got the official full release notes through the official Warner Bros. support page. In addition to general gameplay performance and stability improvements as well as online connection improvements, this new update also packs improvements to ray tracing effects and DLSS on PC. We've included the full release notes down below:

We'll update you as soon as more information about the PS5 patch comes in. For now, stay tuned.

Hogwarts Legacy is available globally now for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. As covered earlier this week, the Harry Potter game is off to a good start with the Steam concurrent player peak nearly matching the peak of Elden Ring and Amazon's New World.
