A couple of days ago, we found out that Google is currently asking users what features and changes they would like to see on Bard. Now, the website reveals a list of features the company is currently working on. However, you cannot really use the features at the time of writing, which means that we cannot confirm that these features will ever roll out. Yet, it is still nice to know that Google is working on actively making its chatbot a lot smarter.
Google is supercharging Bard with a list of impressive features that would help users get the most out of the chatbot
On Twitter, Dylan Roussel found many features that were hidden on the Google Bard website. There are features that would allow you to create bots. At the time of writing, it has a codename Motoko, but other than that, there is not much known about how this is going to work.
There is also a new feature called "Gallery." The description talks about how this feature is a way to “Explore different topics to see what you can do with Bard.” This possibly means that this will give you a set of examples that you can use to use the chatbot more efficiently.
1. Motoko.
There isn't much about Motoko yet. However there is just enough for me to tell you that Google will allow you to "Create Bots." I can't say what they mean by bots exactly, if they will be shareable or anything, but yes... Motoko is the codename for "Bots." pic.twitter.com/4wW4AKbzIS

There is also a "Tasks" feature, but at the moment, there is no indication as to what it is going to do. However, Roussel has mentioned that it could be used for operations that take time to complete, possibly image generation or something else entirely. Bard will also allow you to share your queries with others through a public link, and you will also be able to set the background and foreground of the link that you share.
Last but not least, there is also a feature called "Power Up." Roussel talks about how this feature could help you be better at prompts and ultimately get better results. The AI will also allow you to expand them, which can help a lot of people who are not great at coming up with the proper prompts to get the job done.
Overall, the list of features that Bard is getting seems like a much-needed upgrade, but we are not sure about the extent of these features and when they are going to come out. But since 2024 is going to be focused on generative AI a lot more than the past year, we are definitely going to see a lot of interesting features and use cases from these chatbots.
