CD Projekt Red is aiming to release a new Cyberpunk 2077 patch across all platforms sometime next week, fixing numerous reported issues.

This upcoming new update for CDPR's hit title will, among other things, fix the finisher animations. From the looks of it, this new patch will also address the annoying Mr. Hands bug in the "High Ho Silver Lining" quest. In addition, the development team is looking into fixing an issue with the Autofixer vendor, although we're not sure whether this fix will actually be included in next week's patch. According to the official X account of Cyberpunk 2077, more information about the new patch will be shared after the weekend.

"We are aiming to have a new patch for #Cyberpunk2077 out sometime next week", the post on X reads. "It will tackle the most common issues reported by players, including finisher animations. Stay tuned for more info coming after the weekend."

We'll update you as soon as more information about this new Cyberpunk 2077 patch comes in. For now, stay tuned.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available worldwide now for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4. As covered late last year, more than 25 million copies of the game have been sold worldwide. Last year's Phantom Liberty expansion for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series managed to sell more than 5 million copies in 2023. Here's what we wrote about this jaw-dropping expansion in our review last year:

"Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty builds upon what was an already great game to deliver more fantastic storytelling (with a spy thriller theme, this time around), exciting combat, and very high-quality side content", we wrote. "The perk tree overhaul is a major improvement to progression, and additions like vehicle combat and the overhauled police system are very welcome, albeit not game-changing. If you've been holding out on Cyberpunk 2077 until now, you'll find a huge game with over 120 hours of quality content and an incredibly immersive game world to literally lose yourself in. On top of that, it's by far the most beautiful and technically advanced game available if you have the hardware for it (PC and RTX 40 GPU)."
