MSI has launched its latest entry-level gaming monitor, the MAG 345CQRF E20, which features an ultra-wide 200Hz display for around $200.

MSI Gives Entry-Level Users The UWQHD Taste With Its MAG 345CQRF E20, Offers 200Hz Refresh Rate For Close To $200

MSI recently introduced its high-end MPG 341CQR X36 UWQHD gaming monitor, which comes with the latest 5th Gen Samsung panel, offering a V-Stripe RGB pixel pattern. The monitor looks and feels amazing, but comes at a price above $1100 US. For its more mainstream audiences, MSI has the MAG lineup, and that's getting a brand new addition.

In Asian Pacific markets, MSI has introduced the MAG 345CQRF E20, which is a UWQHD gaming monitor featuring some nice specifications. The monitor features a 34" display with a 1000R curvature for a wide-angle design that offers a maximum resolution of 3440x1440. The monitor itself is rated at 200 Hz, a 20Hz step-up from the previous model, and utilizes a VA panel with a maximum brightness of 300 nits.

Technologies supported by the MSI MAG 345CQRF E20 include 110% sRGB, 0.5ms GTG response time, adaptive-sync support, and standard HDR capabilities. The monitor comes with HDMI 2.0b and DP 1.4a, both of which are good enough for this monitor's specs. There's also a headphone jack. There's a 0-100mm height adjustment, a 30-degree swivel, and a 5-20 degree pivot.

The pricing of the MSI MAG 345CQRF E20 is the most important since it is listed for just 1599 RMB or $230 US. Given the slightly higher prices in China, we can expect the actual US prices of this monitor to end up closer to $200 US, which is a very reasonable price for a 200Hz and 34" UWQHD gaming monitor. If MSI brings this monitor to more markets outside of APAC, then entry-level gamers would be in for a delight.
