The INSPIRE series RTX 5050 is probably the smallest RTX 5050 editions, which offer a single fan design and weigh just 551 grams.
MSI Launches Small Form-Factor RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX and OC GPUs, Boasting Dual-Slot Thickness
MSI has officially launched two new GeForce RTX 5050 cards in the INSPIRE series. These are probably the smallest RTX 5050 cards on the market, boasting a dual-slot design and a single-fan cooler to ensure compatibility with very small ITX cases. Apart from MSI, PNY also has a similarly compact GeForce RTX 5050, which measures just 147mm. The INSPIRE ITX RTX 5050 cards measure the same in length, and there are two variants: RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX and RTX 5050 INSPIRE ITX OC.

The first one brings up to 2587 MHz of boost clock in the Extreme Performance mode, while the OC card has a slightly higher boost clock of 2617 MHz. The GPUs are sleek in appearance, and their shrouds are minimalistic in design, offering the iconic INSPIRE look. As far as thickness is concerned, MSI advertises their dual-slot cards, but due to the cooler appears to be slightly thicker, which will occupy around 2.1 or 2.2 slots on the motherboard.
The GPUs feature 3x DisplayPort v2.1b and 1x HDMI port, which can support high resolution and high refresh rates, but remember that the GeForce RTX 5050 is the weakest Blackwell GPU, which is only ideal for 1080p gaming and struggles to deliver triple-digit performance. The card has a TDP of 130W and comes with a single PCIe 8-pin connector.
For cooling, it uses a ZERO FROZR design with a couple of heat pipes coupled with TORX Fan 5.0 fans for high airflow. This is slightly different from what MSI used on its GeForce RTX 5060 INSPIRE 2X OC card, which offers Stormforce Fans, but the overall design is quite similar in appearance.
