MSI has unveiled its GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming X MLG GPU which comes in its red and black theme and some boosted specs.

MSI's GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GAMING X SLIM MLG Stands Out With Red & Black Aesthetics, Featuring Great Aesthetics & Bumped Up Graphics Performance

The MLG GPUs by MSI are designed in a way to portray the company's ideology since its origin, and this idea is mainly reflected in the GPU's overall design. We saw the debut of an MLG variant with NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4060, but this time, MSI has decided to ramp up things and unveil a new RTX variant, the RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming X SLIM MLG, bringing in both the performance and aesthetics to give users the best of both worlds.

Speaking of the design, the MSI's GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER GAMING X SLIM MLG features a gorgeous red and black color scheme running around the GPU's shroud, which resembles the firm's branding as well. The red and black colors have been adopted in MSI's previous-gen cards for a long time but the company moved to black and silver aesthetics over the past two generations of cards.

Moreover, to top off the aesthetics, the MSI GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming X SLIM MLG comes with a magnetic detachable cover for the backplate, since the cover has an anime-themed character at the back as well, which is something widely appealing to specific audiences. The firm has also provided the option for users to remove the cover, making the MLG variant suitable for everyone, through its minimal yet effective customization option.

Interestingly, MSI has released their new MLG model under the GAMING X SLIM series, hence the GPU comes in a 2-slot design with rather decent dimensions compared to the bulkier alternatives out there. Moreover, since this particular SKU is under the "X" branding, it comes with slightly bumped-up frequencies, with a base speed of 2640 MHz, and reaching up to 2655 MHz which can be utilized through the MSI Center application. It also comes with a higher TDP of 265W.

MSI hasn't revealed details such as pricing or release date for the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER Gaming X SLIM MLG graphics card but it will be released alongside other variants under the GeForce RTX 4070 SUPER lineup this week. We can expect the GAMING SLIM models to be priced slightly higher than the $599 US MSRP since they have a premium look.
