MSI's B760MPOWER motherboard has leaked out, featuring a cost-effective design with BCLK OC & faster DDR5 memory support.
MSI B760MPOWER Motherboard To Feature BCLK Generator & Strong DDR5 OC Capabilities
Last year, MSI resurrected its MPOWER series, which is renowned for its strong OC features. The first to hit retail was the Z790MPOWER, a cost-effective Z790 mATX offering with 8000+ MT/s memory support and an external BLCK generator. This year, MSI launched its first MPOWER motherboard for AMD platforms, the B850MPOWER. Now, it looks like MSI is once again preparing another motherboard for the LGA 1700 CPU series.
The new motherboard is the MSI B760MPOWER, which is another mATX offering. This motherboard comes with the LGA 1700 socket and supports three generations of CPUs: 12th Gen Alder Lake, 13th Gen Raptor Lake, and 14th Gen Raptor Lake Refresh. The motherboard will feature a strong power delivery despite its cost-effective nature, and dual 8-pin connectors to boot up the CPU. It's based on the B760 chipset, so we can expect the pricing to be very good, under $200 US.

As for the specifications, the MSI B760MPOWER motherboard has two DDR5 DIMM slots, which support up to 128 GB DDR5 memory with 8000+ MT/s speeds. The other main feature of this board is that it has an external BLCK generator, which should provide a nice OC tuning experience. Expansion slots include 1 PCIe 5.0x16, 1 PCIe 4.0x4, and 1 PCIe 3.0 x1 slot. Other than that, you get two M.2 Gen4x4 slots & 6 SATA III ports.
I/O on the motherboard includes 1 USB 20 Gbps (Type-C), 4 USB 10 Gbps (3 Type-A + 1 Type-C), 2 USB 5 Gbps (Type-A), and 8 USB 2.0 ports. There's a 2.5GbE LAN port and an 8-channel audio jack. One of the two Gen4 M.2 slots is featured under an M.2 Shield Frozr heatsink, while the VRM is cooled by an extended heatsink design. Once again, it looks like a decent and cost-effective offering for overclockers who want to try out some new records on the LGA 1700 socket. Expect more information on availability and launch soon.
