Motorola Now Has A Flexible Smartphone That Can Wrap Around Your Wrist

Smartphone displays have come a long, long way ever since we started seeing flexible displays, and the good news is that we are getting displays that are even better than before and way more advanced. Now, Motorola has gone ahead and showcased its latest concept smartphone that can wrap around your wrist when you are not using it.

Motorola believes that the future of smartphone displays is entirely flexible

The new bendable phone that Motorola has showcased is not something that is going to be available to the public right now. The company is calling it an "adaptive display," and it uses a 6.9-inch flexible pOLED display that can be used in a flat or a "tent" mode. In addition to that, the phone can also be bent back in self-standing mode, as well as twisted back on itself.

Although I am impressed by what Motorola has to offer with this display, I cannot say for sure just how far the applications are going to be and whether or not we are going to see it in consumer products any time soon.

Sadly, Motorola has not shared any details about this new display. However, considering how it is still in the concept stage, it will take some time before we start learning more about what the company has in store for the consumers.

Seeing such a display is not something that surprises us anymore, given how there have been several occurrences of flexible displays in the market. I mean, foldable phones use flexible displays, too, and we are only going to see a wider implementation of these displays. It is safe to say that a lot of other brands are going to step up with their own display tech, and we cannot wait to see more.
