MLB The Show 22 Steps Up to Bat with First 4K Gameplay Footage, Day 1 Game Pass Confirmed

Following a big multiplatform debut last year, MLB The Show 22 is looking to build on the franchise’s newfound success, and Sony has released first next-gen console footage of their latest hardball game.  This time around, the game will also be coming to Nintendo Switch, and yes, the Xbox version of the game's trailer confirms it will be a Day 1 Xbox Game Pass release again. Of course, MLB The Show 22 comes in the usual dizzying array of versions and special editions. The last-gen version will set you back $60 and the next-gen consoles version is $70 – upgrading to PS5/XSX will cost you $10 and won’t be available if you buy the physical version. MLB The Show 22 launches on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Switch on April 5 (or April 1 if you grab one of the special editions).
