MINIX Launches Two New Powerful Mini PCs Powered by AMD Ryzen AI 9 HX 370 and Ryzen AI 9 365; Systems Support Up To WiFi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, and 2.5G Connectivity
Mini PC and accessory maker, MINIX, has launched two of its flagship Mini PCs, based on the AMD Strix Point processors. Its previous flagship mini PC, EU715-AI, was based on the Meteor Lake, but the company didn't release any mini PC on newer architectures like Zen 5 or Arrow Lake. With the launch of ER937-AI and ER936-AI mini PCs, MINIX is now offering stronger performance within a compact chassis that delivers as many as 12x Zen 5 cores.
The flagship model, ER937-AI, uses the Ryzen AI 9 HX 370, a 12-core/24-thread CPU based on the Zen 5 architecture. The APU also brings a powerful integrated GPU called Radeon 890M, which is based on RDNA 3.5 architecture and offers powerful graphical compute power through 16 Compute Units. The second model, ER936-AI, uses the 10-core/20-thread Strix Point APU, aka Ryzen AI 9 365, which offers Radeon 880M, featuring 12 Compute Units. To ensure stable operation, these mini PCs use a vapor chamber cooling dual-fan configuration that keeps overheating at bay while keeping low-noise operation.

Ryzen AI NPU (dual-engine, 80 TOPS total), enabling lightning-fast AI task
processing. - Graphics: AMD Radeon 890M GPU for faster processing of complex tasks and
stunning visuals in gaming, 3D rendering, and content creation. - Seamless Connectivity: Tri-band Wi-Fi 7 (2.4GHz/5GHz/6GHz), Bluetooth 5.4, and
dual RJ-45 2.5G Ethernet ports for ultra-fast, lag-free networking. - Fingerprint Unlock: Windows Hello for instant unlocking and high security.
Connectivity on the ER937-AI is superior, featuring the latest Tri-band WiFi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. On the ER936-AI, it's WiFi 6E, and Bluetooth 5.2, but both have a similarly powerful 2.5G LAN port for wired internet connectivity. Both mini PCs are able to execute AI operations, thanks to the dedicated AI NPU engines present on the APUs, which offer up to 80 TOPS of AI performance on the ER937-AI and up to 73 TOPS on the second model.

These mini PCs offer a core configuration of 32 GB DDR5-5600 MT/s memory and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 SSD, but are expandable to 96 GB DDR5 memory and 8 TB of storage capacity. Both systems are currently available for pre-order on MINIX's website, and users can save $130 and $110 on ER937-AI and ER936-AI, respectively, with the early bird discounts.
