The Mighty LG G4 Unofficially Unveiled

Apr 12, 2015 at 11:23pm EDT

By the look and name of it, it most seemingly is the LG G4 that faced a major leak on one of the website that pretty much looks real. The leak pulled a lot of audience since the latest handset was still waiting for the big event on 28th of April. Even though this unofficial announcement wasn't suppose to happen, the official launch stretches to some weeks from now.

Regardless of what happened, the leaked unveiling of the LG G4 is what it looks like and matches traits and physical attributes opposing the rumors. Presumably, all the leaks that happened previously jumped to take the exact shape of LG G4 found on a website by @EvanBlass. The conclusion in terms of design language of the LG G4 is that it is built upon the same form factor of its predecessor, reflecting the same grace.

LG G4 Specifications Contradict LG's Confirm Statement

Even though the visual appearance might have an edge of being true, the specs match likely to some extent as well. Lets ponder over the gigantic 5.5 inch Quantum display which according to previous leaks and rumors, should have a resolution of 1440x2560. Among other leaked specs, the rear camera spec leaked is a 13MP shooter with an aperture of f/1.8. This might contradict LG's original confirmed statement that LG G4 will feature a 16MP camera  with the same aperture level.

Sources from Korea also states that the brand new flagship from LG will feature an Android version of 4.4.2 KitKat. If this is true, then there is definitely some eeriness with the launch because it should have been a 5.0 flavor of Android at this point in time. The front camera will be an 8MP and a hexa-core 808 CPU running the device. The battery constitutes 3000mAh which is pretty much legit with the device of this size.

Although there are many color to the LG G4, it does come with a leather back as well. This design aspect is new to LG but it will definitely put itself among the best looking devices out there. The specification might look a little fishy but judging by the design language, the LG G4 seems legit. Do take note that the website which leaked these images has been taken down. Does that mean anything? Let us know in the comments below. Also tell us how you like the LG G4 if it came out the way its portrayed after the leak.
