Mass Effect Andromeda To Feature Different Types Of Planets; Multiplayer Horde Mode Detailed And More

Mass Effect Andromeda, the new entry in the series created by BioWare, is now very close to release, but there's a lot we still don't know about the game. Thankfully, more on the game started coming in this month, and today some interesting new details have emerged online.

Reddit user typherio got hold of the February issue of PC Gamer Magazine which includes some new details on Mass Effect Andromeda, such as combat details, the 4 chat option and the different planet types included in the game, such as story planets, planets with open exploration and more. Interestingly enough, planets will also have environmental hazards which should make exploration more exciting.

dodge roll has been replaced with a dash, useful for getting from cover to cover, this is conjunction with being able to jump makes for fast mobile combat. you can aim mid-jump to activate a slow hover that is useful for setting up combos.

renegade/paragon system has been replaced with a 4 chat option, head ,casual ,heart and professional giving me choice in the personality of your Ryder.

there are apparently different types of planets i.e. 1 type is a story planet, this planet is one mainly consisting of open exploration and side quests. Planets also have environmental hazards like those seen in no mans sky i.e. radiation, too hot and too cold.

the nomad was partially designed and tested by a small team from need for speed, take this as you will.

Some new details on the game's multiplayer mode also emerged online. Unlike the main game, players will have to pick a class at the beginning of a horde mode match.

and finally in the horde mode multiplayer, unlike in the single player game where you can freely switch between class profiles in horde mode like in me:3 you pick what class you will play before the start of the match.

Mass Effect Andromeda launches on March 21st in all regions on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
