The weirdest fashion accessory gotta be a decade-old GPU embedded in a carrying purse with a price tag of over $1000 US but there's more.

Seller Starts Retailing GPU Purses And Tries Selling Them At Insane Price Tags By Labeling Them As "Luxury"

There isn't every day we see such products pop up in the markets, but in general, the GPU segment has been "quite" creative in the past when it comes to DIY instances.

Now, a firm going by the name of GPU Purses has apparently adopted a pretty "awful" business model, which includes using full GPUs and creating a purse out of it, and given that they cannot create a pursue out of NVIDIA's GeForce RTX 4090, the individuals have utilized an old GeForce GT 730 GPU for the job, and by the first looks, the purse not only is terrible, but the price tag on it seems like the seller is in an existential crisis.

The purse features a transparent housing to show off what's inside, and interestingly, it features a dedicated cooling fan at the outer side, which is most likely just there as a showpiece. The whole purse structure utilizes chains to make it carryable, and that's the only part where we can associate the product with an actual purse. There's little to no space inside, only adequate for a phone to be carried, according to the seller, and the next part is even more surprising.

The GT 730 purse is going for $1,024, which is about 50 times higher than what the actual GPU costs. Maybe the seller only has gross margin in mind and didn't think about whether someone would buy this. Either way, we would advise users to stay out of the trouble of purchasing such a purse, given that it's of no use and doesn't look impressive at all. Maybe if some sort of creativity had poured into the product, it might have looked better.

This particular purse reminded me of Huawei's Honor V Purse phone, except in this case, you get zero utility out of the product. GPU Purse has listed an NVIDIA H100 purse for $65,536, and yet again, it's either a scam or the seller is trying to find his way into the real world.
