For the average user, the base model will tackle their needs effortlessly.
It’s important to note that the base M5 MacBook Air and the top-end version listed on Amazon don’t share the same GPU core count, as the more affordable portable Mac ships with a 10-core CPU and an 8-core GPU, but if you decide to up your budget, you’ll also be rewarded with more GPU cores, which only translates into better performance.
