On top of the two Fallout TV series adaptations, the upcoming God of War TV series, the Mass Effect series, and the Wolfenstein series that Amazon has in the works, in September 2025, it confirmed that it is working on a Life is Strange TV series adaptation.

The show is set to be written and led by Kaos writer, Charlie Covell, and today, in a new report from Variety, we learned who Amazon has tapped for the show's two lead roles, Max and Chloe. In the case of both casting choices, Amazon and Covell have opted to go for two young actors early in their career rather than two well-known names.

Tatum Grace Hopkins, who will be making her television debut in this Life is Strange series, is set to play Max, while Maisy Stella, who you might recognize from her roles in the TV show Nashville or 2024's film, My Old Ass, where she starred alongside Aubrey Plaza, will play Chloe.

It's unclear as to when the show will start filming, but with Hopkins and Stella already set in their lead roles, it appears that this Life is Strange adaptation is moving faster than the other aforementioned video game to TV show adaptations Amazon has in the works, save for the God of War show which entered production as of last week.

When the show was first announced, Covell said, "It's a huge honor to be adapting 'Life is Strange' for Amazon MGM Studios. I am a massive fan of the game, and I'm thrilled to be working with the incredible teams at Square Enix, Story Kitchen, and LuckyChap. I can't wait to share Max and Chloe's story with fellow players and new audiences alike."

As far as what's coming in the next Life is Strange game, Life is Strange: Reunion, which is billed as the conclusion to Max and Chloe's story, is set to arrive later this month on March 26, 2026.
