Samsung is actively working on launching its new devices, whether it is the latest S series, the new foldable technology it is working on, or the budget-friendly variant that is to be unveiled in a month or two. Given its recent FCC spotting, the rumor mill has been churning about the Galaxy S24 FE, which might be coming soon. The device is the South Korean tech giant's take on reasonably-priced devices with premium features that can be considered the next best alternative to flagship phones. Previously, not much information was available on the upcoming device but a recent leak gives some key details and insight into what the budget phone might entail.
Leaker shares the dimensions of the Galaxy S24 FE and also shares details on the device's connectivity
It has not been long since the S4 FE made it to the FCC listing, confirming that the pocket-friendly smartphone is in the works and likely to be released in an October window. Previous reports have pointed toward a larger display and improved peak brightness on the upcoming FE version; now, we have a leaker sharing the dimensions and other insights on what to expect from the FE phone.
A tipster has revealed some key details of the S24 FE on X, formerly Twitter, and has shared an image that mentions the leaked dimensions. According to the post, the FE model is packed up with 162 mm x 77.3mm dimensions that, if compared with the Galaxy S24, which stands at 147 mm x 70.6mm, the budget phone is larger and wider. From this, we can assume the smartphone could sport a boxier design, similar to the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the S25 lineup.

The Galaxy S24 FE is also claimed to have extended charging support, with the 9W reverse wireless charging it is reportedly going to offer, which makes charging other devices wirelessly seamless. It is also said to be equipped with expansive connectivity, featuring Wi-Fi 6E, an enhanced version of Wi-Fi 6 that would offer better speed and lower latency, improving the overall connectivity experience.
The details do give us a good idea about the possible improvements in the FE variant this time around, but they should be taken with a grain of salt until we have some official confirmation about the specifications. The budget phone is said to feature a triple camera setup and be powered by an Exynos 2400e processor. With the recent leaks and FCC spotting, the launch seems to be not far away, and more details will likely emerge before the official release.
