While the Pixel 9 series was majorly unveiled in several leaks before its official release on August 13th, Google decided to pause the glimpses dropped every now and then by officially showcasing the upcoming Pro model in detail before its launch. The company even mentioned Gemini AI being a significant addition to the device in a video released. This did not stop the reports from coming in, and fresh leaked renders of the series give away the design and tease other elements, making their way to the new models.
Leaked images show the Pixel 9 Pro in Pink color and the Pixel 9 Pro XL in Porcelain color, giving a closer at the camera upgrades
With the Made by Google event 2024 hardly a month away, the tech community is focused on the big release of the Pixel 9 series at the event. Even though no mystery is left about the upcoming models, speculations are not slowing down and leaving less for the imagination. The new renders showcase the Pixel 9 and Pixel 9 Pro in Pink and Porcelain colors and some noticeable hardware changes.
Google even took it upon itself to reveal the series before its launch by showcasing the Pro model in a video released by the company. Now, a tipster, Sudhanshu Ambhore, posted two images on X that showcase the Pixel 9 and the Pixel 9 Pro XL. The Pixel 9 render displayed the already given out Pink color scheme coming to the model, and the color is interesting, giving the base model a unique look compared to the previous standard color tones. On the other hand, the Pixel 9 Pro XL is shown sporting the Porcelain color, which does justice to the cleaner, more premium look opted for the XL version.
The images show the backs of both Pixel devices, which have updated camera modules for the upcoming Pixel lineup. The Pixel 9 is shown with a dual-camera setup, while the Pixel 9 Pro XL sports a triple-camera setup. Previous leaked reports have given the hardware upgrade for the series as well. The Pixel 9 Pro and Pro XL would feature a 50MP IMX858 ultrawide, telephoto, and selfie camera. The prominent protruding camera design of the Pixel Pro XL gives it the capacity to house larger sensors for the rear camera that help deliver high-quality images and selfies.
The XL model is expected to have 16GB of RAM storage and a new modem, Samsung Exynos Modem 5400, and the upgraded modem might solve the previous connectivity concerns with the Pixel series. The camera upgrades and the fresh colors coming to the series make us excited for the upcoming Pixel 9 lineup and the enhancements it would bring.
