On X, Majin Bu has shared the battery size of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, stating that it will have a 4,422mAh capacity, offering a pea-sized increase over the 4,323mAh cell found in the iPhone 14 Pro Max. There may be several reasons why Apple would be forced to use a small battery on its upcoming flagship, and one of them may have to do with it shipping with a bigger camera module.
Bear in mind that the iPhone 15 Pro Max is rumored to be Apple’s first flagship to ship with a periscope zoom camera, so most of that space could be used up thanks to new optics. Regardless, Majin Bu states that despite this small difference, users should experience better runtime with the handset, mostly thanks to the efficiency of the A17 Bionic, which is said to be mass produced on TSMC’s cutting-edge 3nm architecture.

According to a previous announcement, TSMC mentioned that its new manufacturing process could deliver up to 35 percent improved power-efficiency compared to the 4nm node.
