Intel XeSS Receives Support In Over 150 Games, More Titles Coming Soon 1

Intel XeSS 1 support is now supported in over 150 titles, with more games on the way and XeSS 2 is just getting started.

Intel XeSS Support Expands To Over 150 Titles, While A Few Support XeSS 2, the Support for Both XeSS 1 & XeSS 2 Will be Added to More Titles Soon

Intel was the first discrete GPU manufacturer to introduce its super-sampling method alongside its first generation of the Intel Arc Alchemist lineup. While it has been over two years since XeSS was released, it has undergone several stages of development and the latest we have today is XeSS 2.

Even though XeSS 2 isn't yet widely adopted, the original XeSS 1.0 and its latest iterations have made their way to many games. Intel has today proudly announced that the XeSS is now supported in over 150 titles. Plus, there will be more shortly.

You can find the complete list of games that come integrated with XeSS technology, which includes several popular modern triple-A titles. However, there is still no competition between XeSS, AMD's FSR, and NVIDIA's DLSS.

Intel still has a long way to go to be able to compete with its rivals, but it's looking in a much better position than before. It should be noted that most of these games support XeSS 1 and its latest versions, but XeSS 2 is still not found on most titles. There are only two games that come with XeSS 2 support at the moment, including F1 2024 and Marvel Rivals, but there are several upcoming titles and existing ones that will bring the latest XeSS 2 technology soon. These include Assassin's Creed Shadows, Killing Floor 3, and a handful of more titles.

That said, a few games also support Intel's XeSS Frame Generation, but it isn't as widely available as FSR and DLSS Frame Gen techniques. However, the XeSS 2 and Frame Generation can only work on Intel Arc Battlemage GPUs. Currently, there are only two launched GPUs in this lineup, namely the Arc B580 and Arc B570 with very poor availability.
