HTC Thunderbolt 4G now available

It took its sweet time coming. With so many prior leaks and 'unofficial' announcements it was more of a question of "when is this finally releasing" rather than "what cool stuff will it bring". Well the wait is over. HTC Thunderbolt is now available in USA for Verizon customers for 250$ with a 2 year contract. The phone will be able to take advantage of Verizon's 4G network with download rates up to 10Mbps.

For those living outside USA wondering what the big deal is; the Thunderbolt is essentially a CDMA version of the Desire HD which was released a while ago. The only addition is a front facing camera. Now all thats needed is a good application in the android market that makes good use of the front facing camera.
