Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance

At the beginning of the game, Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance's Canon of Vengeance is not particularly different from the regular Canon of Creation story introduced in the game's original release. Soon enough, however, you will get to meet some powerful enemies that cannot be found in the other Canon, powerful enemies that can give you a lot of trouble if unprepared.

Among them are Glasya-Labolas and Naamah of the Qadištu, the mysterious group of demons at the center of the Canon of Vengeance story. Thankfully, taking them down is not too difficult if you have certain demons with the right skills for you.

How to Beat Glasya-Labolas and Naamah in Shin Megami Tensei V's Canon of Vengeance

For starters, Glasya-Labolas is weak to Thunder while Naamah to Physical, so make sure to bring demons that can use the Zio family of skills and that can unleash powerful physical attacks. The best strategy is to get rid of Naamah first, as she can charm your party members. To do so quickly, enter the battle with full Magatsuhi, use Omagotoki: Critical, and go all out on her with physical attacks. If you have Ippon-Datara with you, use Beatdown at full HP for the best effect. The Bestial Bite skill works rather well, too, as it is stronger when it deals critical damage, which is guaranteed under the effects of Omagotoki: Critical. In case you are charmed, use the Patra skill to heal the altered condition as quickly as possible. Once Naamah has gone down, dealing with Glasya-Labolas is rather easy. Unleash your Zio skills, keep your health up, and use buffs and debuffs as needed.

As for the demons that can make this Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance boss fight much easier, besides the aforementioned Ippon-Datara, you should bring Andras and Shiisaa. The first is resistant to charm, and if it has the Patra skill, you will be able to get a reliable status-condition healer for this fight. The second comes with an innate skill called Guardian Beast that counters with Thunder-elemental attacks when attacked with an element the demon resists or can null. As Glasya-Labolas uses Force attacks, against which Shisaa is resistant, the skill will activate multiple times during the battle, dealing damage with an element against which Glasya Labolas is weak.
