The My Phone companion app allows users to link their smartphone and their Windows PC. So, if you have any important data that you wish to share between your devices, you can easily do so. This tutorial will show you how to send links to Windows 11 PC using an Android phone. The process isn’t very complicated, and anyone can do it.
Send Links to Windows 11 PC Using Android Phone
The first thing you have to do is set up the Phone app on both your computer and Android Phone.
- Click on the search icon on the taskbar and type Your Phone. Click Open.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
Important Note: To make this work, make sure that your phone and PC have the same internet connection.
After the system and phone are set up, follow the steps below:
Step-1: Open the website you wish to share the link for in the browser of your choice. (I am using Chrome)
Step-2: Depending on your browser version, the Share option position can vary. Some browsers will have the share option available in the menu when you click on the three dots at the top right corner of the browser. Others will have the share option in the address bar like in the image below:
Step-3: Click on the Share icon or the share option and select where you want to share it. In my case, I selected Send to your devices.
Step-4: Select the device from the device list.
Step-5: Now, check your phone. You will have received the link there.
After you are done, you can disconnect the Phone app from your PC and phone if you wish. I hope this helped. Let us know in the comments below.
