For example, in Windows 11, you cannot move the taskbar to the top of the screen by organic means. You can edit the Registry and get the desired results to achieve this. This tutorial will show you how to move the taskbar to the top of the screen in Windows 11 systems.

Before you edit the Registry, you should know that this is a very delicate task. If you haven’t used the editor before, I suggest that you create a system backup if something goes wrong. The best way to go about this is to create a system restore point before making changes in the Registry. After you have done this, follow the steps below:

Step-1: Open the Run box using the shortcut keys Win + R.

Step-2: Type regedit and press Enter.

Step-3: A UAC prompt will show up and ask you, do you want this app to make changes to your device? Select Yes.

Step-4: Type the following pathway in the address bar at the top of the window and press Enter:

Step-5: Double-click the Settings key in the left pane.
