Arrowhead Game Studios has rolled out a new Helldivers 2 patch (version 1.000.13), which improves the login speed on PlayStation 5, and more.
Another day, another patch for Arrowhead's hit title it would seem. Without a doubt, the developer is hard at work to further improve the co-op sci-fi shooter on both PS5 and PC - recently a patch already increased the server cap to 700K players.
Today's update not only improves login speed on PlayStation 5, but should also reduce the amount of error messages on Sony's console. In addition, this new patch addresses an issue where Super Credits wouldn't show up after being collected or purchased. Also, this patch introduces proper support for AZERTY keyboards by allowing the Ship HUD shortcuts to be rebound. The update also comes with several AFK-kick-related issues across both platforms. As mentioned by the developers, there are still several issues that need to be addressed. We've included the known issues below:
- New Personal Orders are not showing.
- Login rate limiting when many are logging in at the same time.
- Players can become disconnected during play.
- Rewards and other progress may be delayed or not attributed.
- Various UI issues may appear when the game interacts with servers.
- Pick-up of certain objects in-game may cause characters to freeze in place for an extended period of time.
- Some games would not be joinable by others for a short period of time during heavy load.
- Other unknown behaviors may occur.
- Japanese VO is missing from intro cutscene and Ship TV.
- Armor values for light/medium/heavy armor do not currently function as intended.
Helldivers 2 is available worldwide now for PC and PlayStation 5. As covered earlier this week, the game has already sold over 3 million copies since its global launch earlier this month - quite impressive for sure.
