Publisher Team17 and developer Expression Games has announced that Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will officially arrive on PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S next month on June 18, 2026. The release date was revealed alongside a brand new gameplay trailer, showing off more of the high-intensity tactical action players can expect when it arrives next month.

The gameplay trailer shows off the all-terrain battles players can expect, with engagements spreading across naval, land, and air combat, all against the backdrop of Vietnam's tropical jungle. Of course, Hell Let Loose: Vietnam keeps the squad-focused strategic combat that made players fall in love with the first game, and its massive 50v50 player battles.

The game is already available to pre-order, with the standard edition going for $39.99 / €39.99 / £34.99 and the deluxe edition going for $59.99 / €59.99 / £54.99. Pre-ordering either version gets you a US Army boat crew uniform, and the deluxe addition adds a few more cosmetics, like the NVA boat crew uniform, ANZAC and NVA uniform pack, and the Green Berets and Navy SEALs uniform pack.

You can see the breakdown of what each edition gets you, whether or not you pre-order the game.

Team17 and Expression Games also revealed today that an open beta weekend for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam will be hosted ahead of launch at the end of this month, from May 29, 2026 to June 1, 2026. The beta will take place only on Steam, so console players are unfortunately left out, but if you have a capable PC, the beta is free and open to anyone who wants to jump in.

Hell Let Loose: Vietnam was first revealed last year during Gamescom 2025, and arrives seven years after the early access release date of the first game, which first arrived all the way back in 2019. The two years spent in early access on the first game, and the five years since its 1.0 launch have clearly taught developer Expression Games a lot as Hell Let Loose: Vietnam isn't launching into early access but is instead going straight into 1.0. Hopefully, it'll arrive without any major issues.
