GUNNIR is Intel's existing board partner, which will possibly reveal the Intel Arc B580 GPU a day after Intel's official unveil of Battlemage GPUs.

GUNNIR shows the upcoming Intel Arc GPU, possibly a factory-overclocked Battlemage GPU according to the teaser

Only a day left before Intel reveals its next-gen Battlemage GPUs, and we already have a few board partners announcing their own custom editions. The first one is ASRock, which has prepared its Steel Legend Arc B580 and Challenger Arc B570 GPUs, and the second one is Maxsun, which has made a triple-fan GPU, scheduled to be revealed when Intel showcases its reference edition officially.

The third and the latest one is GUNNIR. In fact, GUNNIR announced its custom Arc Battlemage GPU before Maxsun but has followed up with the latest post. Both posts are published on Weibo, which are kinda teasers, showing the GPU from different angles. One shows the GUNNIR heatsink fan while the other shows the GPU from the side, unveiling its heatsink and the Intel Arc branding.

The first teaser posted three days ago reveals the official unveil date of 4th December 2024, which is a day later than Intel's official unveiling date. The caption (as translated from Chinese) says,

(New Product Countdown 3 Days) Overclocking is released and you can feel the extraordinary power.

It seems to be some kind of indication that the GUNNIR's Arc Battlemage GPU will be a factory overclocked edition, or it may allow pushing the clock speeds higher than 2.8 GHz with manual overclocking. While we don't know whether it is the Arc B580 or the B570, it's possibly the former, since most reports have revealed the Arc B580 GPU.

The recent teaser, which reveals the GUNNIR branding on the fan says,

(New Product Countdown 2 Days) In silence, explore the secret of excellent performance.

The Intel Battlemage GPUs will be based on the Xe2-HPG architecture, featuring 20 Xe2-cores on the B580 and 18 Xe2-cores on the B570. These are the budget offerings from the company, bringing 12 GB and 10 GB GDDR6 memory respectively. We have discussed the specifications of these cards in detail in our previous post, which are most likely final since they are from the official ASRock data sheets.
