Grand Theft Auto 6

Grand Theft Auto 6 may feature some co-op mechanics, judging from recent discoveries made in last year's leaked videos.

As detailed by Reddit user Tobbelobben on the game's dedicated Subreddit, the leaked videos showed a Player Action Manager that showcases various in-game actions available to players, which include covering, crouching, melee attacks and grapples, and more. What's interesting in the options included in this manager are a few ones, such as Downed Self Revive and Downed Self Suicide, which wouldn't make much sense unless there was another player or AI-controlled character that could revive the downed main character. In addition, the Buddy Comms and Buddy Ping options also seem to reinforce how the next entry in the series could feature some sort of co-op features or an advanced system that would give players better control of AI-controlled characters. With Grand Theft Auto Online's immense popularity, it wouldn't be surprising to see Rockstar Games work some optional multiplayer features into the main campaign.

No matter how Grand Theft Auto 6 will play and the mechanics that will power the experience, it is undeniably one of the most anticipated games launching in the future, if not the most anticipated. As highlighted by Sawyer Merritt on X, the post confirming the game's first trailer debuting next month has become the most-liked gaming post on the website ever, garnering over 1.3M likes and 127M views in only 12 hours.

Grand Theft Auto 6 has yet to be officially revealed and may not release until 2025. We will let you know more about the game as soon as more come in on it, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
