[Update] The new PS4 GT Sport update 1.45 has now been rolled.
[Original story] The next Gran Turismo Sport update for PlayStation 4 will be released later this week on September 26, Polyphony Digital has confirmed.
Polyphony’s Kazunori Yamauchi already announced the arrival of a new GT Sport update last week and the developer has now confirmed the update’s actual release date.

“At the following time, we will perform maintenance on the 'Gran Turismo Sport' servers. A new game update will also be available after the maintenance”, the game’s official website mentions.

September 26, 2019: 04:00 – 06:00 UTC

The new update will add four new cars to the game. Based on the contents of previous updates, it’s likely that a new track will be included as well alongside new races in the GT League.
GT Sport is available globally now for the PlayStation 4.
