Mini PC maker, GMKtec, announced the launch of its latest mini PC series called EVO-T2 nearly two weeks ago, but that debut was specific to China. EVO-T2 will either boast the Core Ultra X7 358H or the Core Ultra X9 388H processor, offering up to 180 AI TOPS of power through the CPU+NPU+GPU combo. Both chips offer the same 16-core/16-thread configuration through a 4 P-core + 8 E-core + 4 LP-E-core combination, enabling high-performance computing at a low power. The EVO-T2 will offer 64 GB of LPPDDR5X memory running at an incredible 8533 MT/s speed.

The machine brings 1 TB SSD out of the box, but the storage can be expanded up to 16 TB using dual NVMe slots (1x PCIe 5.0 + 1x PCIe 4.0. No other memory-storage configuration has been announced by the company, which means the default RAM and storage configuration will be 64 GB + 1 TB for now. The price for the system starts at $1,899, but it's likely for the configuration with the Core Ultra X7 358H. The X9 388H configuration could cost more, but it remains a speculation.

GMKtec has announced that the mini PC will officially see the retail launch on 30th March, but early subscribers can receive a $60 discount. This brings the price to $1,839, but keep in mind that the first batch will only include 50 units, which means the EVO-T2 is likely to go out of stock quickly. GMKtec hasn't announced the availability of the second batch, but we will keep you updated.
