GMKtec's EVO-T2 Mini PCs are now official, being the successor to the Arrow Lake-powered EVO-T1 series, and offering Intel Panther Lake CPUs.

The new Mini PC is designed with AI and content creation in mind, and comes in two configurations: a Core Ultra X9 388H variant and a Core Ultra X7 358H variant. The CPU configurations include up to 16 cores in a 4 P-Core + 8 E-Core + 4 LP-E-Core configuration clocked at up to 5.1 / 4.8 GHz, respectively, and the same Arc B390 iGPU with 12 Xe3 cores clocked at up to 2.5 GHz. It can provide up to 180 TOPS of compute power for AI tasks.

Besides this, the system will be loaded with up to 64 GB of LPDDR5X-8533 memory, which is soldered to the motherboard. An interesting bit about the GMKtec EVO-T2 is that it uses Phison's aiDAPTIV+ AI SSDs, which expand memory by caching, offering a big boost to memory performance and capabilities.

With these tricks, the system is able to run models with 70B parameters with ease. You can equip the EVO-T2 with two M.2 SSDs with one Gen5 and one Gen4 interface. The maximum capacities are rated at 16 TB or 8 TB each.

The EVO-T2 also uses a very similar chassis design as the EVO-T1 with two USB4 ports offering 40 Gbps transfer speeds, 100W power delivery support, an OCuLink port for external GPUs, dual LAN (10GbE + 2.5GbE), five USB Type-A ports (5 Gbps + 10 Gbps), and an HDMI connector. The chassis features a triple exhaust airflow design with two fans, one for the SSD compartment and one for the SoC (uses a vapor chamber). The system is able to sustain a maximum TDP of 60W, and can be switched to a 45W balanced mode while offering near-quiet operation.

Besides this, you also get Wi-Fi 7 support, Bluetooth 5.4, and the ability to drive four 4K screens simultaneously. GMKtec has precisely optimized the system around the OpenClaw AI Agent, and comes loaded with GMKtec's own "GMKtec Claw" utility, providing users with a speedy and fully-local AI assistant and chatbot.

As for pricing, the X7 variant with 64 GB memory is currently listed for 9999 RMB or around $1400-$1500. Expect our review of the Mini PC soon. The EVO-T2 Series will be available on the GMKtec official website soon.
