Motorola's 4G smartphone the Atrix is finally getting some Gingerbread love. The update from Android 2.2 (Froyo) to Android 2.3.3 (Gingerbread) is available on the Motorola website (source) in a 161mb package. Gingerbread brings many new features to the Atrix, there are many changes, some to the UI and the music player etc. There is also support for 1080p playback on the Atrix and now you can sideload applications onto it aswell. Simply download the update, paste the .zip file onto your SD card and apply it by going to the System Updates menu on your cell phone, or newbies can follow the detailed guide on the Motorola website.
