GIGABYTE's Flagship QD-OLED Monitor, AORUS FO27Q5P, Launched: Boasts 2K Resolution With Up To 500Hz Refresh Rate, DP 2.1 Support, DisplayHDR True Black 500 Certification, and More
The popular PC hardware maker, GIGABYTE, has debuted its fastest OLED gaming monitor yet, which it calls "the world's fastest" QD-OLED monitor. We already have Samsung and MSI to launch or unveil 500Hz QD-OLED displays already and this makes GIGABYTE probably the third vendor to release blazing fast QD-OLED gaming monitors for enthusiasts. The monitor AORUS FO27Q5P boasts a Samsung 3rd Gen QD-OLED panel and offers 1440p resolution on a 27-inch screen.
This monitor can run at up to 500Hz refresh rate, bringing smooth visuals for a pleasant gaming experience and a competitive advantage for professionals. The AORUS FO27Q5P delivers an ultra-low response time of 0.03 ms GtG, making it competitive with the flagship QD-OLED offerings from other manufacturers. The monitor is also GIGABYTE's first display to bring the VESA ClearMR21000 standard for unparalleled motion clarity, and carries the VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certification.
Color reproduction of this monitor is also solid, including 99% DCI-P3 color gamut and a contrast of 1.5M:1 for deeper blacks. This allows it to compete with flagship models from popular monitor makers, who have recently debuted their 480Hz and 500Hz QD-OLED 2K gaming monitors. Plus, it gets the latest DP 2.1 UHBR20 interface (including both regular DP 2.1 and Mini DP 2.1), unlocking a total of 80 Gbps bandwidth for uncompressed visuals.
Apart from the leading specs for gaming, it also brings excellent color accuracy with Delta E < 2, making it ideal for professionals. AORUS FO27Q5P also brings various gaming features like Tactical Switch 2. for switching resolutions quickly, Ultra Clear mode to reduce motion blur, OLED VRR Anti-Flicker for reducing flicker, Night Vision, and Game Assist. The AORUS FO27Q5P uses GIGABYTE AI OLED Care to protect the display from burn-in issues and offers various customizations to tweak things as needed. That said, users will also get the 3-year warranty, which covers the panel burn-in, making it an ideal choice for the long run.
