The black edition of the GALAX RTX 5070 Ti HOF GPU is now available in China on some e-commerce stores. The pricing is, however, nearly 50% higher than the official MSRP.
GALAX RTX 5070 Ti HOF Gaming Black is Now Available in China for a Price Tag Higher Than the MSRP of RTX 5080
NVIDIA RTX 50 series premium editions already cost noticeably higher than the FE and base models, but special editions can sell for even a more premium price tag. Thankfully, GALAX is still behind ASUS when it comes to pricing its premium OC editions, but the selling price for the RTX 5070 Ti HOF Gaming Black reportedly goes beyond $1000. GALAX hasn't confirmed the official price tag for the RTX 5070 Ti HOF Black edition card, but considering it has started appearing on some e-commerce stores in China, we can now guess how much the GPU will cost.
Officially, the GeForce RTX 5070 Ti starts at $749 but sells for slightly higher in China. The recently unveiled GALAX RTX 5070 Ti HOF Gaming Black is reportedly priced at 8,299 Yuan, which roughly translates to US$1,160. This is a nearly 50% increase in the price and is even higher than the GeForce RTX 5080's FE price. The RTX 5070 Ti HOF Gaming Black comes with a fully black shroud, bringing the same aesthetics and specifications as the classic white edition, but is one of the first to launch with a black shroud.
GALAX also launched the GeForce RTX 5080 HOF Gaming Black alongside it, but we don't have any reports suggesting its availability or pricing yet. The RTX 5070 Ti HOF Gaming Black features a triple-fan design and a platinum-grade PCB with high components onboard. The GPU comes factory-overclocked, featuring 2610 MHz of boost clock and up to 2625 MHz in 1-Click OC mode. Surely, one can achieve much higher boost clocks with some tuning because that's what the Hall of Fame editions are known for.
The RTX 5070 Ti HOF Gaming Black, along with other RTX 50 series HOF editions, are also the only cards to feature HOF Debug Safety Indicator, which allows troubleshooting problems like improper PCIe connections or abnormal power. Hopefully, the RTX 5070 Ti HOF Gaming Black officially ships at somewhat lower price tag, but it's unlikely that it will sell for under $1000.
