Frore Systems Unveils AirJet Mini Sport, Waterproof Solid-State Active Cooler 1

Frore Systems has unveiled a new customized cooling system called the AirJet Mini Sport, specifically designed for smartphones and cameras.

Frore's AirJet Mini Sport Is The Firm's Attempt To Capitalize On Edge AI Hype In The Mobile Segment With Waterproof Design

Frore's AirJet set of solid-state active cooling solutions replaces conventional fan-based cooling techniques by utilizing different materials such as copper plates and "vibrating membranes." However, the firm's latest solution is targeted at the rapidly growing smartphone segment, and with the increase in the need for adequate cooling, the company has managed to capitalize on it by unveiling its newest, "AirJet Mini Sport."

Diving into the details, the AirJet Mini Sport has built upon the previously released AirJet Mini Slim solution. Still, with this, the company has managed to make it waterproof, and the Mini Sport now comes with an IP68 rating. Apart from that, the Sport model is dust resilient as well, and it features a self-cleaning mechanism, making it ideal for its integration into compact devices. The cooling solution weighs only 7 grams with a 27.5mm x 41.5mm footprint and dissipates 5.25W of heat per chip.

Regarding performance, the company says that with their new cooling system, smartphones and action cameras can see an improvement of 80%. It works perfectly while submerging in over 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes. It can generate 1750 Pascals of back pressure for optimal airflow, is power efficient, and uses just 1W of TDP.

We are excited to announce the waterproof AirJet Mini Sport. Consumers demand increased performance in compact devices they can use anywhere, on land or in water. AirJet unleashes device performance, now enabling users to do more with their IP68 dustproof and waterproof devices.

Another interesting feature is that the AirJet Mini Sport features Thermoception, a temperature detection method for surrounding chips in the host device. Due to the compact nature of the system, the Sport solution can adjust its performance, ensuring adequate heat performance of both the cooling mechanism and the host device.

Frore Systems says that in the era of On-Device AI, the need for a proper cooling solution is more important than ever, and with the cutting-edge performance of the AirJet Mini Sport, the firm is anticipating mass adoption.
