[Original Story] Forza Horizon 3, the latest entry of the series developed by Playground Games, is now available to all players on PC and Xbox One, but the fun is only beginning, as plenty of additional content will be coming to the game in the near future. Earlier today, one of the DLC packs coming in the future has been revealed and full detailed.

One of the next Forza Horizon 3 DLC packs will be called The Smoking Tire Pack and it will include, as revealed on the Japanese Xbox Store, cars that are new to the franchise such as the 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan, the 1976 Jeep CD-5 Renegade and others.

2016 Aston Martin Vulcan
2016 BMW M2
2016 Pagani Huayra BC
2016 Spania GTA
2010 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor
1976 Jeep CJ-5 Renegade
2000 Lotus 340R

The Smoking Tire Pack has yet to be officially announced, so we don't know precisely when it will become available for purchase. Considering it has appeared on the Japanese Xbox Store already, it probably won't take long to learn more about it.

Last week, we reported how Forza Horizon 3 struggles to run at 1080p/60FPS on most configurations. According to the research done by a few users, this is due to ESR, which uses a lot of CPU to decrypt files while playing

The reason of those stutters is the fact that the game uses EFS which consumes a lot of CPU.
Yesterday, i’ve captured a usage on my CPU and GPU, and found interesting thing, when CPU has 100% a lot of stuttering appears and GPU usage lower fluctuates at 50-80%. Stutters mostly appears in a city and mostly at the fast speed, when the game loads a lot of assets simultaneously. The i’ve navigated to a folder where game is installed and found that game folder uses EFS, which AFAIK uses AES256 encryption. Having EFS is ok for sensible documents, not the game files, because it requires a lot of CPU to decrypt.

Forza Horizon 3 is now available on PC and Xbox One in all regions.
