Sony will be airing a new State of Play tomorrow, giving another look at the MediEvil remake as well as at a yet to be announced title. It seems like something related to the Final Fantasy series will be shown as well.

A few hours ago, Final Fantasy brand manager Shinji Hashimoto retweeted the State of Play announcement with a cryptic message.

The series official Twitter profile also shared some tweets featuring a screenshot from the Final Fantasy VII and a mysterious Chocobo related poll.

The Final Fantasy VII screenshot may be teasing another look at the game's remake, of which we have heard very little for quite some time. The Chocobo poll, however, may hint at the announcement of another game starring the series mascot.

The Final Fantasy VII Remake remains one of the most anticipated PlayStation 4 games yet to be released. The game was originally announced back in 2015, but very little of it has been shown so far. The game was also absent from last year's E3, and with no other big project announced, it's likely that more of it will be shown very soon.

Mako Reactors are draining the life energy of the planet. The Shinra Corporation rules over a corrupt surveillance state. A few prosper, the rest are left to rot in the city slums of Midgar. That changes tonight.

The elite mercenary and ex-SOLDIER Cloud Strife has been hired by the resistance movement AVALANCHE to fight back. Their mission will change the world forever.

The next State of Play will be aired tomorrow Thursday, May 9th, at 3:00 pm Pacific Time. We will keep you updated on any Final Fantasy related announcement as soon as possible, so stay tuned for all the latest news.
