Fallout New Vegas Real-Time Reflections Mod

Fallout fans unite - a modder has created a fully-dynamic real-time reflections system for Fallout New Vegas

Created by modder 'Wall-SoGB', this reflections mod includes realistic ambient lighting on meshes and is highly customizable. Now, New Vegas isn't the most demanding game by itself, but mods can require some additional beef from a setup. The good thing here is, according to the modder, that the reflections system can even run on 'weaker' setups. As said, it's highly customizable, and it allows users to configure the resolution, brightness, draw distance, apply behaviors, quality modes, and more. "Thanks to this, the performance can be as low as 1-2 frames, or as high as over 30 - it's suitable both for casual players, and screen archers alike", the modder explains.

We've included a short video of the mod in action down below:

It's an interesting mod for sure, and one that will be appreciated by New Vegas fans that are into modding the game. Those interested can download and try out the mod via Nexusmods (thanks DSOGaming). As always when using mods - be sure to follow the provided installation and usage instructions.

Developed by Obsidian Entertainment, Fallout New Vegas was originally released in 2010 for PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. The game is being considered one of the best, if not THE best, entries in the Fallout series. Those into modding might also want to check out the upcoming Fallout 4 New Vegas remake conversion mod that aims to remake New Vegas within Fallout 4's engine. A release date for this ambitious mod has yet to be revealed. Here are some features as outlined in the project's FAQ:
