Dying Light: The Beast

Techland has confirmed that the release date and a gameplay premiere trailer for its upcoming game, Dying Light: The Beast, will debut this coming Friday, June 6, 2025, during Geoff Keighley's Summer Game Fest 2025 kick-off event.

We've already seen small snippets of gameplay from Dying Light: The Beast during previous trailers, like the one Techland revealed at The Game Awards last December, but it sounds like this Friday's trailer will be a much deeper look at the gameplay, ahead of its release, which is due to be sometime during summer 2025.

Techland also recently announced that it will host more video presentations around Dying Light: The Beast, with a new studio set up specifically for videos akin to the 'Dying 2 Know' series of videos it did leading up to the launch of Dying Light 2: Stay Human.

Basically, Techland is ramping things up towards the release date for The Beast, and hopefully, for fans, the release date isn't set too far back into the summer, so that we'll be able to have it in our hands sooner rather than later.

Summer Game Fest 2025 is starting to take shape as we're only days away from the event at the time of writing. We already know to expect a new State of Play presentation for tomorrow, a showcase dedicated to IO Interactive for Friday that'll follow the SGF kick-off event, and there will no doubt be more announced before Friday. The video game industry announcement craze that happens every June is officially here.
