It's a big day for those who love game emulation on their mobile phones because Delta, a famous emulator that has seen some hard days, is finally back on the App Store. The developers have not just stopped at an emulator; they have even launched an alternative marketplace called the AltStore. Both are now live in the EU, marking a big victory for those who are looking for options that are different than what is readily available.
Major victory for developers as Delta and AltStore are finally available on iOS in Europe
Riley Testut, the maker of Delta, extensively talked about his App Store experience here. You can read everything that has gone down in the past three years. After these years, the efforts are finally paying off as the emulator is back on the App Store along with a brand new storefront.
Now that Delta is available on the App Store, there are a lot of things that are going to be expected of this emulator, and I hope that Apple does not take it down. Testut talked about what you can expect from the emulator. Honestly, I am really happy that it is finally happening because, for those who are in love with retro games of the days gone by, this definitely is something that you should look into.
Here is what the App Store listing for Delta talks about. Yes, if you have been waiting for it to finally happen, there is much to be excited about.

There is no denying that, at the moment, Delta looks like it is going to be one of the promising emulators available on the App Store. If you want to download it, you can get started from here. If you want to learn more about the emulator and how it works, you can find all the details here. This is not the first time an emulator has found its way to the App Store, iGBA did make its way to the storefront but was later removed over concerns from Apple. But one thing is for certain: the EU has started something that cannot be stopped, and we are soon going to see a smartphone industry that will become a lot more lenient and accepting than it is now.
